an affair to remember.

a couple meets on a ship.
they fall in love. its beautiful.
they keep everything a secret so that people don't "talk" as we all know people do...
they agree to meet in six months at the top of the Empire State building. July 1st at 5pm.
BUT as she rushes to the Empire State building she is in a terrible accident.
He waits and waits and waits for her to show but of course she won't be there because of her accident.
...and she won't go see him because she is too proud.
He eventually goes to see her, and she is just laying there on the couch, and he remembers a woman who came into his shop in a wheel chair buying one of his art pieces and then he realizes what happened.
with a minute remaining on the film, they embrace and its so beautiful.
thats true love.
