abundance

kiddies, your word for the week is abundance.

God has a tenancy of over-delivering when his people look to Him to meet their needs. When Jesus fed the five thousand, he didn't give them just enough to get by. Everyone ate until they were satisfied, and there were twelve full baskets of left-overs. When he filled the disciples fishing nets after a long nights unsuccessful work, the boat nearly sank with excess. Jesus said He came to give abundant life. That is what He was talking about: a life in which Gods gifts over flow and spill out all over the place.
