the moment of choice

Some choices are easy to make, some are more difficult. Some will lead us straight to success, while others will bring us face-to-face with failure.

In youthful thinking we say things like, " I'll make my dreams happen later" or "Next year will be my year." Our youth gives us the ability to believe that "one day" we will magically arrive at the destination of our dreams. But then something happens. Reality sets in and the day we have been waiting for will not magically appear.

basically, if we want our lives to be different, all we have to do is make different choices. The truth is, we're so busy trying survive life that we don't even realize that our choices and actions aren't translating into our hopes and dreams.

We may fool ourselves into believing that our actions do not matter, particularly if we think no one will know or that no one is watching. when we ask the right questions and make the right choices we feed our life choice.

It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone

things that have been crossing my mind....

how i really appreciate the right click button. think about it, if your was broken or you simply didn't have one, how could you preform the actions that the right click button does? 

how i enjoy the company of others. I find that when i catch others having a good time, it rubs off on me. I then find myself having a good time, you know the saying a smile is contagious? i guess it's true.

simple pleasures in life. ie, slurpees, bike rides (with my boyfriend of course) painting, long drives with no destinations, thriftys ice cream (rainbow sherbert) naps, long naps, movie nights, random adventures.

as i sit here beside my boyfriend i find myself at peace, and also wanting to poke him in the stomach for being a little to sarcastic at times too much for his own good.

also, i don't understand the film War Inc. i hope it gets better or a little more interesting soon.

that all the rambling i will do for tonight.
